What We Do
The Crabby Pickleball Club is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization (501c7 pending) based in Queen Anne’s County Maryland.
Our Mission
To foster in Queen Anne’s County, MD a variety of pickleball opportunities for all types of players, recreational to competitive, beginner to advanced.
Pickleball was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, a short ferry ride from Seattle, Washington. Three dads – Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum — whose kids were bored with their usual summertime activities — are credited for creating the game.
