Good Evening, We are excited to be approaching our next round of ladder/league play. League purchase will be open at 9am on Wednesday, Sept 11th and play will start the week of Sept. 23rd. All morning leagues start at 9am and all evening leagues start at 6:30pm. Each league spot is $10 for 6 weeks of play. Here’s what you need to know about our offerings for this 4th session: Monday Eve League: Our highest level of competition, using MLP format. Captained by Dave H & Abby B. Approval by the player development staff is required to sign up. Tues Morning League: A new, trial offering geared towards the low-intermediate to novice/beginner player. This event is run on PB Den and can accommodate odd numbers of players. Cell phones are needed to report scores. Results are recorded and do carry over week-to-week to help with seeding of the lineup. This is a new, trial offering in response to players’ requests. Hopefully enough people will commit and help this be successful. Captained by Wendy Q and other volunteers. Tuesday Eve League: Intermediate play. Luck-of-the Draw will continue with random court assignments, timed games, with regular scoring. Players move up & down with each game, based on their scores; however, scores do not carry over to the next week. Captained by Marguerite L. Wednesday Morning League: High intermediate level play. This offering will continue to be managed on PB Den with court assignments being determined by prior results. Cell phones are used on court to report scores. Captained by Wendy Q & other volunteers. Wednesday Evening League: Our beginner/novice league, also referred to as New Crab. A “Luck of the Draw” format, with random court assignments and winning players “climbing the ladder” with each round. No scores carry over to the following week. It is meant to be fun but competitive for the newer player. Basic strokes and knowledge of court positioning and scoring is required. This is not for anyone who has not played before. We do have seasoned players who participate to work on their “soft game” and help out. This event is captained by Cindy E. To register for a ladder/league: Log into your account on our website, go to “Pages” and “Ladders” and “Buy” a ladder. After your ladder registration fee is paid, we will add you to your ladder’s roster in PB Den. You must wait to receive a second email from us that your order has been completed, you will then be able to log into PB Den and select the dates, for your league, that you would like to play. To summarize, first you buy on our website, next you wait to receive 2 emails and then you schedule yourself in the Den. Please only purchase a single league spot, until we notify you that registering for a second league is available. Please be patient, loading you into the Den is not automated. We process your purchases in the order that they are received so no one has an advantage scheduling-wise. You need to receive 2 emails, the first confirming your purchase & a second saying your order is completed/shipped. If you receive the “order is completed/shipped” email but you can not access the signup schedule within the Den, please let us know. CPC TeamReach: If you haven’t already, please download the TeamReach app and request to join the CPC Xchange using the group code: info-CPC.
